Drawing Class #1

October 1, 2009

I decided to take a drawing class this Fall so I would have something to look forward to during the week. I’m going to blog my awful drawings and hope that my skills improve over the semester. I haven’t taken an art class since elementary school (no Josh, computer video art in high school doesn’t [...]

Magical disappearing iPhone alarm times

October 1, 2009

I don’t have a fix or anything for this… but anyone else experiencing a disappearing act with times in the iPhone’s alarms? This has been happening to me ever since the 2.0 firmware, both on my previous handset (original iPhone) and the new 3GS.

Unstable airport drives under Snow Leopard (10.6)

September 5, 2009

I’ve been using my Drobo and several Western Digital hard drives plugged into my Airport Extreme for well over a year trouble-free. Day 1 of OmniFocus

August 3, 2009

Today was my first day of using OmniFocus at work. Implementing a new system of organization and working is painful. While I had quite a few meetings today, I did have some time to work on projects.
On a positive note, after leaving my meeting (where I took notes in my moleskine) I entered all [...]

Christmas in the summer

August 2, 2009

For stationary addicts, nothing is better than back-to-school sales. The end of the summer is the time to stock up on paper, notebooks, folders, and all that stuff at extremely good prices. Every year it seems that the deals start earlier in August. This weekend’s Sunday circulars were packed with savings, and I recently took [...]
